Data Source and Methodology
How Metin2Pulse collects market data, which servers it covers, how often data is refreshed and what the data does not guarantee.

How data is collected
Market listings are collected read-only from the Trading Glass screen in the player's own game client. Game files are not modified, no automated in-game actions are performed and the game client is not altered.
Records can include item name, server, seller, Yang/Won price, amount, refine level, bonuses, element and absorption data. The goal is to let players compare market prices in one view.
Coverage
The live feed currently covers 11 TR servers:
- Ruby Charon
- Lucifer
- Ezel
- Barbaros
- Arkadaşlar
- Bagjanamu
- Marmara
- Nite
- Safir
- Star
- Dandanakan
Update frequency
Categories are scanned in rotation. The cheapest/first pages are refreshed more often; the full category set is re-scanned at longer intervals.
The age label next to each listing shows how fresh the data is. The homepage server table and statistics cards also show overall data freshness.
Prices and currencies
Prices are set by players and shown in Yang and Won. Metin2Pulse does not perform currency conversion; it compares Yang and Won values separately and through total cost.
Server medians and average prices are calculated from listings on the relevant server. They are informational and do not guarantee a trade.
Data limitations
The Trading Glass only returns listings that are active at that moment. If an item has no listing or was not seen during the latest scan, its price can be empty.
Market data changes constantly; displayed prices reflect the collection moment and are not guaranteed to be current, complete or error-free. Do not use them as the only source for in-game economic decisions.
Independence
Metin2Pulse is an unofficial platform built for the Metin2 community. It is not affiliated with Webzen Inc. or Gameforge; Metin2 and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.
