Price alarm guide →Yang and Won: how is total cost calculated?
Metin2 trading glass listings can show a price in Yang, Won or both. Metin2Pulse shows the two amounts in separate columns and converts them to the same scale for comparison:
1 Won = 100,000,000 Yang
- 120,000,000 Yang + 0 Won = 120,000,000 Yang total cost.
- 150,000,000 Yang + 4 Won = 150,000,000 + 400,000,000 = 550,000,000 Yang total cost.
- For listings priced only in Won, multiply the Won amount by 100,000,000.
This calculation lets you place listings priced in different currencies side by side and see which is actually cheaper.
What to watch when reading Won prices
- Fix the server: Prices are server-specific; compare the Europe and Tigerghost servers separately.
- Check the quantity: Listings selling multiple units can have a different unit cost.
- Account for bonuses and refine: A copy with better bonuses is priced higher. The bonus guide explains filters.
- See the historical average: Deals highlights listings at least 10% below the last 3-day average.

Frequently asked questions
How many Yang is 1 Won?
Metin2Pulse calculates 1 Won = 100,000,000 Yang. If a listing is priced in Yang, Won or both, the total cost is calculated using this rate.
How do I compare Metin2 Won prices?
Convert the Yang and Won amounts to the same unit and add them. For example, 150,000,000 Yang + 4 Won equals 550,000,000 Yang total cost. The market window shows both amounts in separate columns; total cost makes comparison easier.
Do Won prices differ by server?
Yes. The Yang/Won price of the same item can differ across Europe and Tigerghost servers depending on supply and demand. Select the server first when comparing.
Why are Yang and Won shown together?
Trading glass listings can be priced in different currencies. Showing both amounts lets you compare different listings by one total cost.
How do I set a Won price alarm?
Add the item to your watchlist and save the maximum Yang and Won thresholds you accept. The watchlist follows listings against those thresholds. See the price alarm page for details.
